GLC: It is time to archive this event, but thanks so much to everyone who showed up to celebrate with me. It was a great evening and lots of fun. I even had a few surprise visitors, which was super great. I’ll never forget my 70th birthday y’all. THANKS AGAIN!!

Geocache Description:

It's a palidrome-ish event...a birthday celebration...a geocaching milestone. It's all three mixed together because, why not?

Come join me as I celebrate both my 70th birthday and my 30,000th geocaching find on 7/30!! So excited to be celebrating both as I never expected for either of these things to happen. With both of my parents passing away at a fairly young age, and with 30,000 finds seemingly impossible when first starting out (17 years ago this month), I am super stoked to be hosting this event to celebrate both "wins" with all of my caching buddies - and any other cachers who dare to attend. LOL! Thanks to all of the cache owners and organizers who made my caching celebration possible.

Please note earlier starting time (the restaurant's request). They said that they are often busy on Thursday nights so if we could start earlier they would appreciate it, so their wish is my command! Also, please note:

ABSOLUTELY NO GIFTS PLEASE!!!

I'm GIVING gifts instead, including cake, door prizes, a shared FTF for a new cache hidden nearby, and a new SHAREABLE!!! So stop by for a minute or for a meal.

Cake will be served around 6:00 or so.
