This one was inspired by a recently archived cache of the same name, GC5653. The rules of geocaching have evolved over the years, so this homage required a different approach to its design. This is a true multicache -- unlike its namesake -- with useful information available at the posted coordinates, but there is still a puzzle component to finding the final.
I have provided you with several pictures. In each picture I am standing alongside Geokid at a Waypoint for which you will have to find precise coordinates. These coordinates will help you determine where the cache is hidden.
Many of the Waypoints should be easily found by residents of the Ottawa area. All Waypoints are within 7.5 km of the posted coordinates. Some of these Waypoints are at interesting and pleasant locations. Three were chosen specifically as they reminded me of binthair caches (Where Am I?, The Strange Case of Private Shaheen, and HyperNav). One location is relatively close to an area of interest for a well-known, keen, local geocacher. The other locations are within 1.5 km of many caches by many different geocachers. You may have been to these areas already!
Most of the search can be done by car. However, if you are determined to have a hike between the Waypoints, like some people insist upon...hehehe, go ahead, but it would be extremely loooong...LOL.
Go and find it! Two thumbs up if you do all the work with just your GPSr!... I did not. :)
