Tervetuloa viettämään kesäistä viikonloppua Levitunturille, Lapin elämykselliseen sydämeen! Tunturin taikaa -megatapahtuma järjestetään lauantaina 12.6.2027 Levin upeissa tunturimaisemissa. Päätapahtuman lisäksi viikonlopun aikana järjestetään oheistapahtumia, ja alueen monipuolinen kätkötarjonta tarjoaa tekemistä niin ennen tapahtumaa kuin sen jälkeenkin. Tunturipolut, maisemareitit ja Lapin ainutlaatuinen luonto luovat täydelliset puitteet geokätköilyseikkailuille.
Tapahtumapaikka ja lokikirja avautuvat lauantaina kello 12.00. Tarjolla on lämminhenkinen kohtaamispaikka kaikille geokätköilyn ystäville ensikertalaisista kokeneisiin konkareihin. Myös geokätköilyyn tutustumisesta kiinnostuneet ovat tervetulleita mukaan. Päivän aikana on luvassa erilaisia aktiviteetteja, Adventure labeja sekä mahdollisuuksia tavata harrastajia läheltä ja kaukaa. Tapahtumapaikalla on tarjolla lisäksi muun muassa pyörävuokrausta, perinteinen Kiven Alla -myyntipiste, jäätelökioski sekä ravintola, jossa on tarjolla lounasruokaa ja juotavaa. Tapahtuman tarkempi ohjelma julkaistaan myöhemmin.
Alueelta löytyy monipuolisesti majoitusvaihtoehtoja hotelleista mökkeihin ja leirintäalueisiin. Paikalle on helppo saapua niin omalla autolla, lentäen kuin junan ja bussin yhdistelmälläkin. Kittilän lentoasema sijaitsee vain lyhyen matkan päässä tapahtuma-alueesta, ja alueen palvelut ovat helposti saavutettavissa.
Tapahtuman teemana on tunturin taika – luonnon, yhteisöllisyyden ja seikkailun yhdistelmä. Yöttömän yön aikaan tunturi näyttäytyy erityisessä valossa, kun aurinko viipyy taivaalla vuorokauden ympäri ja maisema kutsuu seikkailuun myös silloin, kun muualla päivä olisi jo päättynyt. Tässä ainutlaatuisessa ympäristössä geokätköily kokoaa yhteen harrastajia eri puolilta maailmaa jakamaan löytämisen iloa, uusia kokemuksia ja yhteisiä elämyksiä.
Pohjois-Suomen geokätköilijät toivottavat kaikki lämpimästi tervetulleiksi kokemaan kesäisen tunturin tunnelman, tapaamaan vanhoja ja uusia ystäviä sekä nauttimaan geokätköilyn parhaista puolista yhdessä muiden harrastajien kanssa.

Welcome to spend a summer weekend with us at Levi Fell, the experiential heart of Finnish Lapland! The Tunturin taikaa Mega event will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2027, amidst the magnificent fell landscapes of Levi. In addition to the main event, several side events will take place throughout the weekend, and the area's diverse cache selection offers plenty to do both before and after the event. Fell trails, scenic routes, and the unique nature of Lapland provide the perfect setting for geocaching adventures.
The event area and logbook will open on Saturday at 12pm. A warm and welcoming meeting place will be available for all geocaching enthusiasts, from first-time participants to experienced veterans. Those interested in learning about geocaching are also warmly invited to join us. Throughout the day, there will be various activities, Adventure Labs, and opportunities to meet fellow geocachers from near and far. At the event venue, visitors will also find bicycle rentals, the traditional Kiven Alla sales stand, an ice cream kiosk, and a restaurant serving lunch and refreshments. A detailed event program will be published later.
The area offers a wide range of accommodation options, from hotels and cabins to camping sites. The event is easy to reach by car, airplane, or a combination of train and bus. Kittilä Airport is located only a short distance from the event area, and local services are easily accessible.
The theme of the event is the magic of the fell — a combination of nature, community, and adventure. During the season of the Midnight Sun, the fell is illuminated in a truly special way, as the sun remains above the horizon around the clock and the landscape invites exploration long after the day would have ended elsewhere. In this unique environment, geocaching brings together enthusiasts from around the world to share the joy of discovery, new experiences, and unforgettable moments.
