Geocache Description:

Another series of cache hidden in the Nonquon. Have fun.

NOTE.  There is hunting here in the fall, be prepared for that. There are lots of duck blinds along the way.  The river is a natural area with lots of vegetation that grows thicker through the summer.  I would not recommend swimming as we watched lots of leeches on our kayak when we pulled out.   There are very many active beavers affecting the water levels and flow. Sometimes they make dams and you will need to get over them with the last one closest to Scugog Line 12 being a doozy.   There is no short way out.  The river flows south to north toward Seagrave.  The public boat launch spot is at Seagrave Mariposa Estates  or road side at Scugog Line 12.    The put in is at NonquonRiver Canoe Entry on Old Simcoe Road near Scugog Line 10.    The logbooks are plastic paper which will not get wet.  Bring a sharpie as I have heard people could not write on the logbook with gel pens.
