Walker's Falls is the site of a long ago bridge across the Saco River as well as an abandoned AMC camping area. (Which makes me wonder, who comes here and mows the grass???). It is a must to walk to the old bridge abutment, and sit and watch the Saco River flow by. I once had a geocache amongst the rocks of the abutment, but high and fast water during floods washed it away. This cache is in a more secure but less interesting location.
It is possible to drive all the way to this geocache. But you need a high clearance vehicle, so be aware. And during spring melt, with the river high and fast, it will likely not be possible to safely get to this cache. Whenever I visit I am also taking a walk for exercise, so I park about a mile away from here. Also, this road is not plowed in the winter, so even though I labeled the cache "winter friendly", you would have to do a long ski or snowshoe to get here in the snow season.
