As the dairy state, Wisconsin is also known for it's ice cream. The "Flavor of the Day" tradition of rotating specialty flavors was pioneered in WI. Blue Moon, the bright blue, citrusy and almond flavored treat is a midwest staple sold almost exclusively in WI. Two Rivers, WI is famously reputed to be the birthplace of the very first ice cream sundae in 1881.
