Totally Sit and Chill with Picky and Hubby :)
(Nearly-new event location!)
(both of us for real this time? we'll see...)
It's the second (and last) Thursday of my stint working at Girl Scout day camp this year - tomorrow is the very last day :( - and I need an event for my calendar. A smoothie would feel great after a long day outside at camp (in the sun, in the rain, or both - we'll see which). Hubby & I love smoothies and like the food here, and it's a convenient place to eat before he heads to Tai Chi. Which hopefully he will indeed be doing this time...
Come by to hang out with your geobuddies, tell of your caching adventures, share and swap trackables, and talk about what you like do to cool off after a long day outside. Contrary to the cartoon, we will be INSIDE and I'll likely be collapsing on a bench :)

No purchase necessary, but don't bring outside food/drinks - or pets. Kids, visitors, friends, travelers, etc. welcome.
You can park in any legit spot in any of the lots but if you're using a wheelchair or crutches or otherwise need an easy in, suggest the lower parking where the marker is since the higher lot closer to the rat requires a bit of a hill and/or a few steps. TSC door isn't automated; if you want a hand one of us will be happy to open it for you.
Parking is a something-shoot - there are a few spots almost in front (north of Mickey's) that are often full or almost so, more on the Chuck E. side where there tends to be space, and spillover options both around the corner to the north and across from Chuck E. by the 7-11. Your choice. Or you can take a bus. Wouldn't recommend a huge vehicle here, although you could probably fit it a in one of the larger lots.
Actual location:
Tropical Smoothie Cafe
at Clocktower Shopping Center, 20171
(the lower bit that faces Centreville Road and the McD's)
Got a smoothie there on submission day for the first such event and the folks working said events were fine if we avoided their peak hours (lunchtime & midafternoon).
If you're feeling unwell, we look forward to seeing you when you feel better. Thank you for thinking of your geobuddies.
