Geocache Description:

This is Hong Kong's easternmost cache.

Kang Lau Shek, on the east coast of Tung Ping Chau is a formation of two 7 metres rock columns. The name in Cantonese echoes their graphical shape, which resembles two watch towers at the water’s edge. The rock on the island is full of vertically staggered cracks.

The view of Kang Lau Shek was used in the design of the 2014 Hong Kong Definitive Stamps with a face value of HKD 3.7.
