Captain Barnacle Pete's Rural Cache Quest

Parrot's Perch

At sunrise the following morning, Captain Barnacle Pete and Kevin arrived at a curious location known as The Parrot's Perch. Pete immediately approved of the name and spent several minutes explaining that all respectable pirates should have their own perch. Kevin disagreed, pointing out that he already had one and it came with feathers. While searching among the trees, Pete became convinced the next clue had been hidden by a pirate who enjoyed making adventurers look upward. After wandering around in circles and briefly accusing a squirrel of guarding treasure, Pete finally spotted the clue nearby and proudly declared himself “Master of Perches and Finder of Things.” Kevin simply muttered, “Aye, mostly by accident.”
