Welcome to the 173rd Surrey Monthly Mid-Week Event, held on the fourth Thursday of the month and this time we shall be at a new location, The Refectory, Portsmouth Road, Milford, Godalming, Surrey, GU8 5HJ,. on Thursday 23rd July 2026.
TheBignells (Ronnie) will be your host and depending on the weather, we shall be inside if its wet or outside if nice and sunny. No reservation has been made as its a large pub and they said they would have no problem accommodating us. I'll drop a note on the cache page when I arrive to let everyone know where to aim for.

If you have never been to an event before, you are more than welcome, and it will be lovely to meet you. You don't just have to be from Surrey, any county, any country - the more the merrier. It is a great way to meet fellow cachers and share caching stories over a glass or two. Maybe even pick up a hint (or three) for any of those elusive puzzles.
There will be the usual opportunity to swap and share travel bugs and maybe get rid of those big ones you have been trying to dump on someone.
The Surrey events have been inspired by the success of the Sussex and Hampshire meets and are nominally held on the fourth Thursday of every month. They are organized by local cachers and can be held anywhere in the county of Surrey.
