Come and see Tallinn in its nighttime glory from the roof of Tallinn's most legendary building. From here you can see the Old Town, the harbor and one of the tallest TV towers in Europe.
TALLINN CiTY HALL (Tallinna Linnahall)
The building itself was built for the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. The exterior of the interesting building complex is reminiscent of ancient Mayan pyramids and old Swedish-era bastions that surround Tallinn's Old Town.
540 people started working there. The first event was the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Estonian SSR. The large hall originally had 6,000 plastic seats, which were later replaced with 4,200 soft seats. In 1981, an ice rink with 3,000 spectators was also completed under the overpass, where hockey games, other sports events (e.g. basketball competitions), flower parties, fashion demonstrations and concerts began to be organized. It became a favorite spot for recreational skaters. The ice rink used plastic seats from the large hall.
On the sea side of the building, in the 1990s, there was a popular saloon-nightclub called Lucky Luke, later Poseidon. The passenger ferry company Linda Line Express has been operating in the city hall since 1995, based on the port. The city hall also housed, among other things, the Nord Cafe. Kuku Radio also started operating in the building, and the private television studio EVTV was also located in the basement hall.
Christopher Nolan filmed the Hollywood film TENET in this building and on the roof of the building.

Tule ja vaata Tallinnat tema öises hiilguses ja seda Tallinna kõige legendaarsema hoone katuselt. Siit näeb vanalinna, sadamat ja euroopa ühte kõige kõrgemat teletorni.
TALLINNA LINNAHALL
Hoone ise on ehitatud Moskva 1980. aasta suveolümpiamängudeks. Huvitava hoonekompleksi välisilme meenutab iidseid maiade püramiide ning vanu Rootsiaegseid bastione, mis ümbritsevad Tallinna vanalinna.
Seal asus tööle 540 inimest. Esimene üritus oli Eesti NSV 40. aastapäeva tähistamine. Suures saalis oli algselt 6000 plastmassistet, mis veidi hiljem vahetati välja 4200 pehme istme vastu. 1981. valmis ka estakaadi alla rajatud 3000 vaatajakohaga jäähall, kus hakati korraldama hokimänge, muid spordiüritusi (nt korvpallivõistlusi), lillepidusid, moedemonstratsioone ja kontserte. Sellest sai harrastusuisutajate meeliskoht. Jäähallis kasutati suure saali plastikistmeid.
Hoone merepoolsel küljel asus 1990. aastail populaarne saloon-ööklubi Lucky Luke, hiljem Poseidon. Linnahallis tegutses sadama baasil alates 1995. aastast reisilaeva ettevõtte Linda Line Express. Linnahallis tegutses muuhulgas ka kohvik Nord Cafe. Samuti alustas hoones tööd Kuku Raadio ning keldrisaalis asus ka eratelevisiooni EVTV stuudio.
Selles hoones ja hoone katusel filmis Christopher Nolan Holliwoodi filmi nimega TENET.
