War Memorial Event #2026 ~ Ware Event Cache

To celebrate War Memorial Series Day 2026 (the 12th anniversary since the series started in 2014) here is a chance to meet up with fellow cachers at Ware nearby the Ware war memorial. The War Memorial Series is a national themed series of geocaches placed close to war memorials across the United Kingdom. The series began on the 1st July 2014 and since 2018 an unofficial profile badge has been available each year for those who find a War Memorial Series cache or attend/host a War Memorial Day event around the series anniversary. In 2026 if you place or find a War Memorial Series cache or host/attend a War Memorial Day event between the 1st July 2026 and the 5th July 2026 you qualify for the War Memorial Badge 2026. This event is being hosted on Thursday 2nd July 2026 between 11.30am and 12.30pm outside at the benches near the Maltmaker Statue. There are plenty of caches close by should you wish to make a day out whilst in the area or just pop in and say hello. We look forward to seeing you there.
