Welcome to Fall Fest 2027!
Lights. Camera. Shenanigans.
All at the Fall Fest International Film Festival!
Join us as Fall Fest rolls into the beautiful Norfolk County Fairgrounds in Simcoe, Ontario for five days of geocaching, adventure, and unforgettable memories from September 8-12, 2027 as we bring the Fall Fest International Film Festival to life!
Grab your finest premiere-night attire, polish those boots, and get ready to walk the red carpet as we celebrate geocaching's biggest stars. Whether you're a seasoned cacher or making your Fall Fest debut, you'll find plenty of excitement both on and off the fairgrounds.
Enjoy on-site camping, Adventure Labs, geocoin and tag trading, live entertainment, film screenings, themed activities, and of course, plenty of geocaching camaraderie. Venture out to discover a collection of brand-new event caches, participate in special activities throughout the week, and compete for your chance to win some incredible prizes.
This is your moment in the spotlight. Strike a pose, collect your souvenirs, and make memories worthy of the big screen.
Beginning Wednesday evening (9/8/27), you can pick up your event game card package at Event HQ and take part in the optional Fall Fest Side Quest. Complete challenges, earn bragging rights, and compete for fantastic prizes. (Participation in the side quests are completely optional and not required to attend the event.)
The cameras are rolling and the spotlight is shining because the theme for 2027 is Lights. Camera. Shenanigans. Inspired by the excitement and glamour of film festivals, you'll have the chance to walk the red carpet, celebrate geocaching's allstars, and enjoy a weekend filled with blockbuster adventures, unexpected plot twists, and plenty of laughter with our very own Fall Fest International Film Festival.
Think you have what it takes to become a star? Submit your film for the FFIFF to be premiered on Friday during the event, for your chance to win tons of great prizes! (More details on submission criteria will be available in November, 2026)
And we're not just talking about the main feature. Throughout the week, we'll be hosting a full lineup of side events, activities, and special experiences for cachers of all ages. Details for each event can be found on the individual event pages and on our website.
With more than $10,000 in prizes and giveaways up for grabs, this is one premiere you won't want to miss.
So grab your friends, pack your gear, and get ready for five days of geocaching magic in Norfolk County.
The reviews aren't in yet, but we have a feeling this one's going to be a blockbuster.
