Geocache Description:


This cache is located on the Butternut Trail in Eastman. Eastman is a private community, however, the public is allowed access to the trails. The trail begins @ the end of Anderson Pond Rd in Grantham. It is about a .75 mile walk down the trail. Notice the historical cellar hole and well. There is a nice sign explaining the history of the site. After you find the cache you can take a short hike from there to Butternut Pond which has a nice view.
