It’s International Geocaching Day! What better excuse for an event.
Come explore the Ettrick Conservation Park with us.
Sunday 16th August 2026 11:30am - 1:30pm
Entrances to the park are on Boundary Road S34 58.290 E139 27.950
and Glenburr Road (opposite the intersection with Native Veg Road) S34 58.010 E139 29.029
The tracks are narrow in places and a bit rough but flat.
The best access point for 2 wheel drive vehicles is via the Boundary Road entrance - please take care and drive slowly due to the rocky, undulating surface of the track.
You are welcome to drop in anytime between 11:30am and 1:30pm. Have a quick chat and head off to nearby geocaches (a new series is going out in the area) or stay and socialise with fellow geocachers.
PLEASE NOTE ... Dogs are most welcome but they must be on leash and under effective control.
There are no facilities so BYO chair and anything else you need.
Sausage Sizzle
There will be a free sausage sizzle at approximately 12 noon. Please log your will attend to help with catering.
We are also supplying a "goodie bag" for the first 20 teams to sign the log.
Attendance at this event will earn you the International Geocaching Day 2026 souvenir.
