Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" was my brother Dave's favorite song. It's no coincidence that this cache is located at the terminus of Carolina Street. Dave's request was that this song be sung at his memorial service nearly four years ago....and it was! Although my brother and I were separated by some distance, we frequently spent precious time babbling back and forth about family matters and world events. Both of us were Eagle Scouts, and together we hiked for six days along the 65-mile Silver Moccasin Trail in California's San Gabriel Mountains.
As for this cache, it is located just beyond large neighborhood developed lots, and sits alone near a large cul-de-sac. This makes for easy parking and an easy U-turn. It's also away fron snoopy eyes. BYOP. No hint is needed.
