The second of many CITO events here in Dún Laoghaire. After the success of the first CITO on 30 May, I've put out another CITO call! With the Tidy Towns competition under way, we're working hard to Keep it Clean in Dún Laoghaire. Will you join us?
Where: Dún Laoghaire - meet at St Michael's Square, and pick up rubbish and water planters in central DL along Marine Road, George's Street, Queen's Road, and Haigh Terrace.
When: Saturday 25 July, 10:30 until 11:30
Why: To make Dún Laoghaire a little bit better.
Your Task: Collect as much litter as you can!
What to bring: Weather dependent clothing, strong footwear, and your own drinking water.
What is supplied for you: The bags, gloves, pickers, and watering cans; and the rubbish/recycling is arranged to be disposed of on site.
Note: This is happening during the weekly clean-up for Dún Laoghaire Tidy Towns during the height of the adjudication for the country-wide competition.

Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has enabled geocachers to beautify and restore natural and urban spaces. In that time, there have been more than 536,000 logged attendances at nearly 29,000 events where geocachers helped improve the outdoors.
Actions often speak louder than words. By participating in a CITO Event, whether by collecting trash, planting trees, or crafting new homes for pollinators, we make our world a better place. Each CITO we attend is a testament to care: care for others, our communities, and our planet.
