Zigarettenstummel - schlecht für die Umwelt. Trotz vermehrter E-Zigaretten liegen leider jede Menge rum. Darum wollen wir bei diesem Cito ein paar dieser umweltschädlichen Zigarettenstummel einsammeln.
Bis zu 4.000 schädliche Stoffe sind in einer Zigarettenkippe zu finden. Bspw. Mikroplastik Nikotin, Arsen, Cadmium, Kupfer, Blei, Benzol, Chrom, Blausäure, Dioxin usw. So kann eine einzige Kippe mit ihrem Mix aus Toxinen zwischen 40 und 60 Liter sauberes Grundwasser verunreinigen oder das Pflanzenwachstum negativ beeinflussen.
Bringt zum Aufsammeln der Zigarettenstummel am besten einen Müllgreifer oder Handschuhe und eine kleine Tüte zum Einsammeln mit. Bitte nur Zigarettenstummel sammeln, sonst nichts.

Despite the increasing use of e-cigarettes, unfortunately, plenty of cigarette butts can still be found lying around. That’s why, during this CITO, we want to collect some of these environmentally harmful cigarette butts.
Up to 4,000 harmful substances can be found in a single cigarette butt, such as microplastics, nicotine, arsenic, cadmium, copper, lead, benzene, chromium, hydrocyanic acid, dioxin, etc. Just one cigarette butt, with its mix of toxins, can contaminate between 40 and 60 liters of clean groundwater or negatively affect plant growth.
For collecting the cigarette butts, it’s best to bring a litter picker or gloves and a small bag. Please only collect cigarette butts nothing else.
The logbook will be available at the listed coordinates. Please hand over your collected cigarette butts to me at the coordinates by the end of the event. I will dispose of them properly.
