Geocache Description:

* Cache is not at the posted coordinates *

This is a 2 part Multi with both waypoints within walking distance.

Moon Jellies can be found in the Spinnaker Cove area of Alamitos Bay. They prefer the warmer summer months so June through September is the best time to see them. On the day I went I saw several from the walkway at the posted coordinates and even more from the walkways by the boats.

If you rent kayak or paddle boards nearby, they may give you a map for where to go to find the jellies.

Street Parking available on Eliot St. No parking for street sweeping on:

  • Thursdays 5am to 8am on the North side
  • Fridays 5am to 8am on the South side

At the posted coordinates you'll see a black and white sign on the gate.

Enter the last 2 words on the sign into the checker for the final coordinates.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
