On July 20, 1969, humanity reached one of its greatest goals. What many had considered impossible, landing on another celestial body, had finally been achieved. This space-themed park pays tribute to the Boeing engineers who designed and built the Lunar Rover vehicles (right here in Kent!) in the 1960’s that flew on later Apollo missions. With a variety of play structures, kids should be ready to blast off! Moon Pies (or something similar) have been sighted at this location. Join us as we discuss past adventures and future geo-goals.
A member of the Washington State Geocaching Association is hosting this event. It is open to all geocachers: Puget Sound area cachers and visitors, WSGA members and non-members, seasoned cachers and newcomers, singles and families are all welcome.
