A simple easy intro to rappelling.
We have a 6' high indoor rappel station over a padded surface so you can focus on just the scary bit - going over the edge, but in a non-scary setting without the big rocky drop.
Rappelling at this event is optional and this is primarily a social gathering. If you want to try rappelling the grand 6' drop, show up wearing tennis shoes or something with grip and everything else will be provided.
This is part of the lead up to Challlenge-FEST GCBF8TE . We have rappel geocaches in town and this will help build your confidence in finding them.
The event is 4:30pm - 6pm at our house and as the landowners we happily give permission for this geocaching event.
