Looking to switch things up for the month of July and having a gathering around the campfire. The coordinates will take you near campsite #43. Bring a camp chair, a hungry appetite, your own beverage or a few, and something to share. We will start making pie iron meals between 6:00-6:30 and have your taste buds ready to try different things made with campfire pie irons. Some ideas being tossed around are pizza pies, ham and cheese, fruit pies, and poor man s'mores. When you log your will attend, please indicate what you would like to bring to share. I will provide ingredients for the pizza pies and ham and cheese pies. Bring your geocaching stories, any vacation stories, camping or fishing stories. Everyone is welcome to hang around the campfire and enjoy each other's company.
When you come in the entrance of General Sibley you will be greeted by three roads. TAKE THE MIDDLE ONE. Follow the one-way signs mainly going to the right. When you pass the bathhouse/bathrooms take a left and then another left and you will see campsites #39-44.
