Die Cala Mesquida ist eine Bucht mit einer kleinen Siedlung im Nordosten Mallorcas und gehört zur Gemeinde Capdepera. Der Strand der Cala Mesquida ist 300 Meter lang und im Mittel 130 Meter breit. An den flach abfallenden Sandstrand schließt sich eine etwa einen Kilometer ins Landesinnere erstreckende von einem Kiefernwald umgebende Dünenlandschaft an. Die ganze Bucht befindet sich im Naturschutzgebiet "Parc Natural de la Península de Llevant".
Wir kommen immer wieder gerne in die Cala Mesquida. Der Strand ist wunderbar und man kann hier toll baden, egal ob das Meer seicht ist oder Wellengang herrscht. Es gibt einfache bis schwierige Wanderungen in die umliegende Dünen- und Küstenlandschaft, die mit tollen Ausblicken belohnen. Durch die Dünen führt ein Pfad auf Holzstegen, so dass man dieses Naturschutzgebiet erkunden kann, ohne es zu stören.

Cala Mesquida is a bay featuring a small settlement in northeastern Mallorca; it is part of the municipality of Capdepera. The beach at Cala Mesquida is 300 meters long and averages 130 meters in width. Adjoining the gently sloping sandy beach is a dune landscape—surrounded by a pine forest—that extends about a kilometer inland. The entire bay lies within the "Parc Natural de la Península de Llevant" nature reserve.
We always enjoy returning to Cala Mesquida. The beach is wonderful and perfect for swimming, whether the sea is calm or the waves are rolling in. There are hikes ranging from easy to challenging through the surrounding dunes and coastal landscape, offering beautiful views. A boardwalk path leads through the dunes, allowing you to explore this nature reserve without disturbing it.

Cala Mesquida es una bahía con un pequeño núcleo de población en el noreste de Mallorca; forma parte del municipio de Capdepera. La playa de Cala Mesquida tiene 300 metros de largo y una anchura media de 130 metros. Junto a la playa de arena de suave pendiente se extiende un paisaje de dunas, rodeado de un pinar, que se adentra aproximadamente un kilómetro tierra adentro. Toda la bahía se encuentra dentro del Parque Natural de la Península de Llevant.
Siempre disfrutamos volviendo a Cala Mesquida. La playa es maravillosa e ideal para nadar, tanto con el mar en calma como con oleaje. Hay rutas de senderismo de diferentes niveles de dificultad que recorren las dunas y el paisaje costero circundante, ofreciendo vistas espectaculares. Un paseo marítimo atraviesa las dunas, permitiendo explorar esta reserva natural sin dañarla.
