Operace |
| Celá nota |
poslední číslice hodnoty |
| Půlová nota |
první číslice hodnoty |
| Čtvrťová nota |
ciferný součet (zúžený na jednu číslici) |

🇬🇧 English version
Nad Bertramkou in Prague 5 is home to the house where Karel Gott lived for 45 years. A short walk uphill stands Villa Bertramka, once a retreat for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Two legends, one place — and one puzzle that connects them.
The story
In 1784, the Dušek family bought Villa Bertramka. Mozart visited repeatedly to see his friends there, and it was here that he finished part of the opera Don Giovanni. Nearly 150 years later, in 1934, a house was built just down the street — a house that, in 1974, became the home of Karel Gott, where he lived until his death in 2019.
To find the final coordinates, you'll need to connect facts about both artists with a piece of musical notation.
The task
Below you'll find seven facts (A–G) about Mozart and Karel Gott. You'll need to research each one yourself — all information is easily found online.
| Note |
What to find |
| A |
The day of the month Don Giovanni premiered (1787, Estates Theatre) |
| B |
The last two digits of the year the Dušek family bought Bertramka |
| C |
The day of the month Mozart wrote the aria dedicated to Josefína Dušková at Bertramka |
| D |
The last two digits of the year of Mozart's last visit to Bertramka |
| E |
The last two digits of the year the house at Nad Bertramkou 18 was built |
| F |
The number of years Karel Gott lived in that house |
| G |
The number of times Mozart visited Prague |
Once you have all seven values, read the musical staff below.
- The pitch of each note tells you which value (A–G) to use.
- The duration of the note tells you which operation to apply:
| Note duration |
Operation |
| Whole note |
last digit of the value |
| Half note |
first digit of the value |
| Quarter note |
digit sum (reduced to a single digit) |
| Eighth note |
10 minus the last digit |

Ten notes = ten digits. Combine them in the order of the notes and enter the result as a numeric code into the checker. It will reveal the final coordinates and a hint.
