World Wide Flash Mob (WWFM) time is here!!
We begin our WWFM XXII pillow fight MK2 showdown opposite
GAWLER POST OFFICE & 3 WHITELAW TERRACE, GAWLER
at the JAMES MARTIN MONUMENT GAWLER
on Sunday 13 September 2026 from 11:30am-midday
Last year we had a public pillow fight, and have decided to continue this very energetic and fun theme
YOUR INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT THIS !
Randomly assemble along WHITELAW TERRACE, GAWLER near GZ
Rules of engagement:
- Get there early
- Act like a muggle before the event starts
- Enjoy the fun spirit of the WWFM
- At the end of the event, leave without a trace
11:30AM Nothing suspicious here. You are already hanging around admiring the JAMES MARTIN MONUMENT in groups of two or three people teams ready to start "fighting". Keep mingling until 11:40.
11:40AM - Get ready, Get set ............ GO get your pillow from under the seat or in your bag! Just wander about area like a muggle, looking at the statue!
11:45AM - FIRST ALARM (whistle) : Commence WWFM XXII PILLOW FIGHT - stay in designated area
11:46AM - SECOND ALARM (whistle) : After ONE minute we will possibly stop fluffing around (or not!!)
11:50AM - Sign log book and pose for official pictures for WWWFMXXIII at the MONUMENT
12:00 - Resume muggle life like activities and disperse!
The Pillow Fight will happen RAIN, HAIL OR SHINE
We know what you are all like so remember to bring SOFT PILLOWS or CUSHIONS.
The CO won't be supplying as many this year.
Come and join in the fun. And bring your muggle friends!
