Do you like cartoons and comics? Do you like to draw? Join Cecil- Evil GeoCaching Monkey (Star of My Geek Odyssey Comic) at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum for a warm up before the opening of the National Cartoonist Society's Showcase. Forty cartoonists from the National Cartoonists Society will participate in signings, meet and greets, and photo opportunities throughout the day in the lobbies of Billy Ireland Cartoon Llibrary & Museum and Mershon Auditorium, offering visitors unique opportunities to engage directly with creators. That starts at 1:00 PM. This event is not affililiated with the National Cartoonists Society 80th Reuben Awards & Conference, just fans of comics & caching getting together to chat before geeking out. While there are some parts that require an admission fee the showcase and museum are free to visit. The event is planned so attendees will have enough time to grab a bite to eat before the festivities begin.
