This is a new series of caches of varying sizes and difficulty which includes tree fishing or otherwise known as pole caches.
They are sited on the Brampton Valley Way (BVW) linear walk along an old disused railway line.
This is a low level cache but you will need a special tool, namely a crosshead screwdriver however, dont worry if you forgot it, there is one hidden nearby about 5m to the south (see waypoint). PLEASE DO NOT FORCE THE CONTAINER OPEN, if you dont have the right tool use the one nearby or come back another time.
This cache was made especially by my Dad, SideIron, it was his Stargate cache that was originally sited in Spain, I had another Stargate in Northamptonshire and TBs amd Geocoins used to ‘magically’ travel between them. It was a great concept but had some difficulties as time went on including costs. I couldn’t resist recycling this cache here where there is plenty of room for it.
This area of the BVW was the garden of the station cottage and it has lots of seating and picnic areas here. Follow the brick path to GZ.
