Freja was born in Demark. As she grew up, she dreamed of what lay beyond Denmark. So, Freja decided to swim across the entire ocean all by herself by kicking her strong webbed legs day and night through the giant waves.
After many days and hardships, Freja saw a tall green shadow ahead. It was a new land filled with sweet smells and tall trees. With one last big kick, her webbed feet touched the warm sand and mud of the new shore. Freja had crossed the great ocean and come to Virginia.
She realized she was homeless. Fortuately, some kind home builder heard about her and built her the house where she is currently living. Most days she is lonely living in this house all by herself. So she is asking you to come and pay her a visit.
When you visit, please be kind to her and her home. Please put Freja back as you have found her.
In Danish she says kvækkende, but is learning English so you may hear a ribbit.
She likes to sleep at night, so only search for her in the daylight.
Please leave a message for her Danish mother in your log She would love to hear from you so that she knows Freja is happy and doing well.
