Like many geocachers, we started this adventure searching for everyone else's Tupperware in the woods. Along the way, we've found amazing places, made great memories, and occasionally questioned our life choices while bushwhacking for a "quick park-and-grab." Now it's our turn to hide one and give something back to the game we love.
This cache holds a special place in our hearts because of our love for the fire service. It's dedicated to all first responders, especially Captain Funk, whose leadership, commitment, and passion for serving this community inspire us every day. The fire service isn't just a job—it's a calling. It takes courage, sacrifice, and a willingness to miss birthdays, holidays, and family dinners so someone else' family can have another tomorrow.
