Shiver me timbers! Hoist the Jolly Roger and make course for Llanddwyn Beach Car Park, where we’ll be celebrating Talk Like a Pirate Day in true buccaneering style!

What better place to gather than the gateway to the shores of Ynys Môn? If Wales ever had a pirate worthy of leading our merry crew, it would surely be Barti Ddu (Black Bart) himself. While he may never have sailed to Llanddwyn itself, we’re sure he’d approve of a band of geocaching scallywags swapping tales of treasure hunting instead of treasure stealing! Arrrrghhhh 🏴☠️ 💪🏼
So, don yer finest pirate attire…eye patches, tricorn hats, stripy shirts, parrots and peg legs and spend half an hour speaking fluent pirate as we exchange tales of:
- Legendary cache plunderin’ 💰
- FTF victories worthy of a captain’s log 📝
- Puzzle caches that nearly sent us to Davy Jones’ Locker 🧩
- Swashbuckling adventures on land and sea 🌊
- And, of course… plenty of “Arrr!”, “Ahoy!” and “Shiver me timbers!” 🗣️
There’ll be no grog on tap, so bring your own drinks and snacks to keep the scurvy at bay while we spin our finest pirate yarns.
