This is the fifth annual Moths and Geocaching Event at Dingestow - a chance to see a few live moths caught on the previous night and learn a little about these wonderful creatures, followed by some geochat, TB discovering etc. There is parking adjacent to the posted coordinates and the Event will be on tarmac or mown grass so is wheelchair accessible. This Event is a bit later in the year than those in 2021-2025 and well into the late summer moth doldrums when most visitors to the trap are predominantly brown in colour. However, there are some classic 'autumn leaf' camouflage species like the Centre-barred Sallow (photo above) and various Thorn species, so I'm sure there will be lots to see.
