The site of the original Tauwhare Community and War Memorial Hall built in 1953 replaciong the original 1903 Public Hall. Cclose the where the old Tauwhare hotel was which was a stopping place between Cmbridge, Hamilton and Morrinsville as accomodation for travellers between 1883 to 1932.
