Join the Northern Virginia Geocaching Organization (NoVAGO) as we celebrate two decades of geocaching in Northern Virginia!
Cascades Library, Meeting Room B, Sunday, September 13th, 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
This free, public educational event celebrates the history, community, and adventure of geocaching while introducing this unique hobby to new audiences. Whether you are a longtime geocacher, a curious newcomer, or simply interested in learning more, everyone is welcome.
Explore historical exhibits highlighting the journey of geocaching in our region, view a special slideshow celebrating the local geocaching community, and discover the stories, people, and milestones that have shaped NoVAGO over the past 20 years. Longtime members are encouraged to bring their own stories, memories, and favorite geocaching adventures to share as we celebrate the people who have made this community special.
This event also marks the official kickoff of the 2026 NoVAGO Series. Running right up until our real 20th birthday in January, our series will celebrate every wonderful year with a geocaching gift hidden throughout the region.
Come celebrate the adventure, friendships, and memories that have made geocaching in Northern Virginia a community worth exploring for the past 20 years!
