SLO:Legenda, ki se širi med usti strunjančanov govori o zanimivem medvedku Branku, ki že stoletja pazi na na Strunjan in njegove prebivalce.Podnevi ga skoraj ni mogoče opaziti če pa ga slučajno opaziš bo izgledal kot lutka na palčki.Aktiven pa je le po noči.Mnogi so pričali da so ga ponoči videli kako se smuka okoli in tava po vasi. Njegov najljubši kraj v Strunjanu pa je križ nad Strunjanom na katerega še posebej pazi.Ves čas se smuka okoli njega in opazuje dogajanje okoli njega.Zelo pa ceni obiskovalce ki občudujejo ta križ, zato mu le namenite nasmeh ali dva ga povprašajte kaj o križu in z veseljem vam bo povedal.Če se mu prikupite vam bo pokazal kje je zakladek katerega je postavil za ljudi ki pridejo sem občudovati naravo, križ in čudovit razgled.Pustite pa ga na svojem mestu saj od tam varno opazuje njemu ljubi križ.
ENG:A legend circulating among the people of Strunjan tells of an interesting little bear named Branko, who has been watching over Strunjan and its inhabitants for centuries. He is almost impossible to spot during the day, though if you do happen to catch a glimpse of him, he looks like a puppet on a stick. He is active only at night; many have reported seeing him prowling and wandering through the village after dark. His favorite spot in Strunjan is the cross overlooking the town—a landmark he guards with special care. He constantly lingers nearby, observing the activity around it. He greatly appreciates visitors who admire the cross, so feel free to give him a smile or two and ask him about it; he will happily share a story or two with you. If you win him over, he might even show you the hidden treasure he placed there for those who come to admire the nature, the cross, and the magnificent view. Just be sure to leave it in its spot, as that is where he safely keeps watch over the cross he loves so dearly.
