"Friends of Batavia Street Fynbos Area" who is now officialy acknowledged by the city has made a big difference with the help of geocachers and other friends in regards to the clearing and maintenance of invasive species.

I walk the area weekly and can see the difference made from when we started untill now.  This time we will try cover the whole area, checking for Pattersons, Wild Mustard, Devils Thorn and whatever litter we can remove.

It is quite evident that every small effort done often enough amounts to big results, so keep it up we will.

This time we are doing an afternoon start compared to other CITO's.  The idea is to give those who cannot do the mornings the opportunity to join as well.   

Plastic bags (with compliment of CoCT) will be supplied.
