Welcome, fellow geocachers! Today, you’re about to witness the incredible mathematical genius of Homer Simpson. That’s right—Homer is really good at math. Like, really, really good. Probably the best. Maybe.

Homer has been given a very important mathematical challenge: find the mystery cache by solving for:

N33° A.BCD W117° EE.FGH If you can solve these numbers, you’ll be one step closer to the cache. If you can’t… well, neither can Homer. D’oh!

A: Okay, so I have 15 donuts. I eat 4 donuts, then I eat 3 more because… math makes me hungry! So 15 minus 4 minus 3 equals… uh… 13! Yeah, 13 donuts!

B: Okay, so I have 16 cans of Duff. I drink 4 while watching TV, then 4 more while doing my very important math. So… 16 minus 4 minus 4 equals… 16! Woo'Hoo!

C: Okay, okay, I’m doing math now! I have 18 slices of pizza. I eat 5 slices, then I eat 4 more… for scientific research. So 18 minus 5 minus 4 equals… 18! Obviously! Because I still have 18 slices in my heart. Mmm… pizza.

D: Okay, listen, I’m gonna do some super hard candy math. I have 11 pieces of candy. I eat 2 pieces, then I eat 1 more piece because the first 2 made me hungry. So… 11 minus 2 minus 1 equals… 11!

E: Okay, uh… I have 6 pieces of candy. I eat 2 pieces, then I eat 3 more pieces because… um… they were lonely. So 6 minus 2 minus 3 equals… 6!

F: Okay, math time! I have 7 remote controls. I lose 2 in the couch, then I lose 2 more… in the couch. So 7 minus 2 minus 2 equals… 7! Because the remotes are still in the house, duh!

G: Okay, I have 14 bowling pins. I knock down 3 pins, then I knock down 2 more because I thought they were looking at me funny. So… 14 minus 3 minus 2 equals… 14!

H: Okay, I got 12 TV channels! I change the channel 3 times because the show is boring… then I change it 5 more times because I forgot what I was looking for. So… 12 minus 3 minus 5 equals… uh… 12! Why? Because the channels are still on the TV! They didn’t disappear! They’re just… somewhere else!
