Hillgorilla in the Evening...Meeting Yordas.

Yordas is reputed to have been a Norse God, and is associated with Yordas Cave. Though another explanation is that the name comes from the old norse for Earth Stream. The Vikings settled this part of the Dales, and there are many associations with the norse language to be found.
We shall meet near Yordas's Mouth, otherwise known as the entrance to Yordas Cave, from here we can get a glimpse of his teeth around the entrance.
Come prepared for the worst that the Yorkshire Dales can throw at you, with appropriate footwear and waterproofs.
The evenings are beginning to draw in, so a torch is recommended.
The event is held outside the cave.
It is a short walk uphill from the road.
Kingsdale is served by a single track road, please drive slowly and respectfully.
After the event if conditions allow I will be going into Yordas Cave. You are welcome to join me, but you are responsible for your own safety. I sometimes come up here to think, and talk to Lord Yordas.
