3ème version de la
cache GC6NXME disparue lors des tempêtes de 2016 puis interdite d'accès en
2025 suite à de nouvelles tempêtes.
Merci
de respecter les panneaux interdisant l'accès à la dune (zone
naturelle protégée) en restant sur le chemin. La boîte est placée
sur le chemin.

Dans le Bassin
d'Arcachon, pendant la guerre de 1940, les blockhaus et les casemates du
mur de l'Atlantique prennent le relais des forts et des batteries de Louis
xv, contre le même ennemi et à peu près aux mêmes emplacements. La
position Ar 33 que vous découvrirez possédait à elle seule 4 pièces de 105
mm, une casemate avec 4 plate-formes, un projecteur et son abri, un poste
de directeur de tir, un observatoire d'artillerie, des abris pour le
personnel, un abri-citerne et 2 abris pour groupes de secours qui ne
seront pas achevés. A chaque grande marée les bâtiments s'enfoncent un peu
plus dans le sable... ou en ressortent.
Cette
cache vous offre 3 belles vues : sur l'Océan et le mur de l'Atlantique,
sur la dune du Pylat et sur la presqu'île.
Pourquoi
"VERT" ?
Ma
première cache posée (GC3VHY2) était une boîte verte, avec un stylo
vert, un log book vert et des objets d'échange verts. Ainsi est née
l'idée de placer les caches qui ont suivi sous le signe du "VERT" et de
proposer un challenge consistant à y déposer de préférence des objets
"VERTs". Ce challenge ne peut malheureusement pas concerner les caches
de taille nano ou micro.
La
cache
est de taille micro. Prévoir un crayon. Merci de bien fermer le sachet
et de refermer la boîte fermement et à fond pour l'étanchéité.

Access
path (walk in fine sand, quite difficult)
In the Bay of
Arcachon, during the war of 1940, the bunkers of the Atlantic Wall take
over from forts and Louis XV's batteries, against the same enemy and more
or less in the same locations. The position Ar 33 which you will discover
possessed a bunker with 4 platforms, a projector and its
shelter, manager's post of shooting, monitoring observatory of
artillery, shelters for the staff, a shelter-tank and 2 shelters for
rescure groups which will not be finished. In every spring tide buildings
sink a little more into the sand or come out of it.
This geocache
offers 3 nice views : on the Ocean and the bunkers, on the dune of Le
Pylat and on the peninsula.
Why "VERT" ?
My
first geocache ( GC3VHY2) was a green box, with a green pen, a green
log book and green items for exchange. So was born the idea to place
the caches which followed under the sign of the "VERT" ("GREEN" in
French) and to propose a challenge consisting in depositing there
rather "VERT" objects. This challenge cannot unfortunately concern
the caches in nano or micro size.
The
geocache is a micro. Please bring your own pen. Thank you for
replacing the bag and closing the box firmly and thoroughly for the
waterproofing.
