On 16.2.2026 a event was held GCBHZX4 Emergency Bored Meeting to decide on names for future events. One of the ideas put forward by the geocaching community was Key Australian Figures. So all the events held in the month of September will be named after Key Australian Figures 1800's then we will move on to the next idea mentioned at that event.
Mary Helen MacKillop, known as Mary of the Cross, was an Australian nun, educator, social reformer, and the first Catholic saint from Australia. She co-founded the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart in 1866 with Fr Julian Tenison Woods, establishing schools and charitable institutions for the rural poor across Australia and New Zealand. Fiercely committed to independent, inclusive education, she faced significant opposition, including excommunication in 1871, later revoked. Recognized for two miracles, she was canonised by Pope Benedict XVI on 17 October 2010. She remains a national symbol of faith, courage, and service.

Recommended parking is from the south road side of the building. This would give you a shorter walk to the event site. Also you will pass the toliets on the way in, if you enter at the closest enterance to the event location.
