The road to Black Lake is a rough track, suited to ATVs/ORVs, high-clearance vehicles, snowmobiles, bikes, and on foot. It goes to Black Lake, then carries on to Bog Lake and on a rougher-yet track to Ernest Lake. Side tracks head off into the backcountry. We can drive to Black Lake, but it is a hike off less than 1 km to a very nice campsite on a lake surrounded by forest. On the day this cache was placed, I parked near the start of the road and hiked in to Black Lake.
