Cache is in Lancaster County Central Park which is open only in daylight hours. Park in parking lots and not on roads.
Dolly Parton completed her life on Earth in August 2026. Loving tributes poured in from around the globe. She was one remarkable, loving, caring, generous person. I know geocaches aren't supposed to have agendas, but the world would be a better place if we had more people like Dolly.
She gave away a heck of a lot of books to kids. A free library would be a great tribute, but that's for someone else to create. There may be room enough here to hold small books, but the container isn't watertight. Try that someplace else.
She wrote many songs, One was "9 to 5". Many people have suggested that 9/25 (September 25th) be Dolly's Day. That's where the name of this cache comes from.
It's a regular-size cache with room for trade items. But contents will get damp; it's Pennsylvania; here comes another thunderstorm.
