🇸🇮 Lansko leto so ulice našega čudovitega Kamnika preplavili geolovci z vseh vetrov. Kamnik Block Party 2025 je pustil nepozabne spomine, polne zabave, druženja in prečudovitega ambienta v popolnem vremenu. Ko so odšli še zadnji geolovci in ko smo se organizatorji nekoliko odpočili, nas je seveda zanimala statistika.
Pravijo, da številke ne lažejo. Ko smo po koncu dogajanja potegnili črto, smo našteli skupno 426 logov, pisana druščina pa je v Kamniku zastopala kar 14 držav. Na domačem terenu se je izkazalo 115 ekip iz Slovenije, a pravo presenečenje dogodka so pripravili naši severni sosedje. Iz Avstrije smo namreč zabeležili kar 119 logov, kar pomeni, da so po številčnosti presenetljivo prehiteli celo domačine! Prav poseben pečat so dogodku dali obiskovalci iz Češke, ki so skupaj prispevali 66 logov – za večino njih je bil zaslužen legendarni češki avtobus, ki je v mesto pripeljal kar 57 potnikov. Pozabiti ne smemo niti na Nemčijo, od koder se nam je pridružilo 44 geolovcev. Dogodek je bil izjemen tudi zato, ker so nas obiskali predstavniki iz samega sedeža Geocaching HQ; med nami so se namreč družili trije Lackeyji, med katerimi sta bila dva še aktivna, eden pa bivši. Celoten uradni program je poleg glavnega Block Party spektakla obsegal še 6 uradnih spremljevalnih dogodkov. Za piko na i pa je poskrbelo 33 najvztrajnejših ekip, ki so pokazale jekleno voljo in obiskale prav vseh sedem uradnih dogodkov tega pestrega konca tedna.
A tisto pravo geolovsko srce pogosto bije izven uradnih okvirjev. Med vsem tem pestrim dogajanjem nam je namreč uspel še en spontan preblisk – organizirali smo namreč še en ad hoc, popolnoma neuraden dogodek. To sproščeno druženje ob vodi nam je ostalo v tako lepem spominu, da smo se odločili tradicijo nadaljevati. Tako je ta spontana ideja prerasla v uradni del našega letošnjega programa!
🇬🇧 Last year, the streets of our beautiful town of Kamnik were flooded with geocachers from all over the world. Kamnik Block Party 2025 left behind unforgettable memories full of fun, socializing, and a wonderful atmosphere in perfect weather. Once the last geocachers had departed and we, the organizers, managed to catch our breath, we were, of course, very curious about the statistics.
They say that numbers don't lie. When we drew the line after the event, we counted a total of 426 logs, with a colorful crowd representing 14 different countries. On home turf, 115 teams from Slovenia showed up, but the real surprise of the event came from our northern neighbors. We recorded an impressive 119 logs from Austria, which means they surprisingly outnumbered the locals! A very special touch was added by the visitors from the Czech Republic, who contributed a total of 66 logs – mostly thanks to the legendary Czech bus that brought 57 passengers to town. We must also not forget Germany, from where 44 geocachers joined us. The event was also exceptional because we were visited by representatives from Geocaching HQ itself; three Lackeys mingled among us, two of whom are still active, and one former Lackey. In addition to the main Block Party spectacle, the entire official program included 6 official side events. To top it all off, 33 of the most persistent teams showed iron will and attended all seven official events of this action-packed weekend.
However, the true geocaching heart often beats outside the official boundaries. Amidst all this hustle and bustle, we had another spontaneous spark of inspiration – we organized one ad hoc, completely unofficial event. This relaxed gathering by the water left such a beautiful memory that we decided to continue the tradition. Thus, this spontaneous idea has grown into an official part of our program this year!

- B = The total number of all Lackeys (active and former), minus the number of former Lackeys
- C = The whole number part of the result when you divide the number of passengers in the Czech bus by 9 (hint: take only the whole number before the decimal point)
- D = The total number of all Lackeys, minus the number of organized unofficial events
- E = The difference between all Czech logs and the passengers on the bus, minus 9
- F = The difference between the number of Austrian and Slovenian logs, multiplied by 1.5
