Greetings & Hello 
We are geocachers from Vienna, Austria, visiting beautiful Cape Town at the southern tip of Africa for the very first time!
Since Table Mountain is the main focus of our first day, we chose Signal Hill as the ideal location to meet up with fellow geocachers, enjoy the breathtaking views, and share some great conversation.
We are really looking forward to meeting fellow travelers and especially connecting with local geocachers, making new friends, and getting insider tips and recommendations for our stay here. As a little token of appreciation, we’ll be bringing some sweet treats directly from Vienna!
After the event, we plan to find a few geocaches in the area and would love for anyone interested to tag along. We’re also more than happy to share ideas, advice, and recommendations for geocaching trips to Central Europe!

Dear Geocaching Community,
Unfortunately, I just learned through the news that a marathon honoring the great Nelson Mandela is taking place this Sunday. Here in Austria—nearly 6,000 miles away—such news sometimes reaches us with a bit of a delay!
Since all major roads will be closed, and I really want to make sure I get to meet you all, I have decided to push the event to the afternoon and shorten it slightly. This should make getting to the event venue much easier again.
