🍺 Taking Hump Day Cache & Chat South!
It's the middle of the week, so what better excuse do we need to get together with some fellow geocachers?
CachingRednecks is taking Hump Day Cache & Chat down the road to Anna, Texas for an evening of caching stories, trackables, laughs, and maybe a cold drink or two.
No agenda.
No puzzles to solve.
No FTF race.
Just show up, grab a seat, and spend some time with other people who understand why “Just One More” rarely means just one more. 😂
Whether you're a longtime cacher, brand new to the game, or somewhere in between, everyone is welcome. Come for 15 minutes or hang out for the whole event.
Bring along your Travel Bugs, geocoins and other trackables to discover or move along. I'll have some of my collection with me as well.
🍕 Food & Drinks
Food and drinks are completely optional and at your own expense. You do not need to purchase anything to attend the geocaching event.
The Anna taproom has beer, wine, soft drinks, bottled water and other non-alcoholic choices. Food is also available on Wednesday evenings.
🎱 Stick Around Afterward!
Here's a little bonus for anyone who doesn't want the evening to end at 7:30.
Wednesday Bingo begins at 7:00 PM and is free and family-friendly, so we'll overlap with the beginning of it. You're welcome to stay after the geocaching event ends and keep the evening going. Bingo is an activity offered by the venue and is not part of the geocaching event.
📍 A Little History With Your Hump Day
And because we're geocachers, there's even a little location history to appreciate. The building at 101 S. Powell Pkwy previously served as Anna's police station before police services moved to the current City Hall complex in 2022.
So come on down to Anna, put some faces to caching names, swap a few stories and help us get over that midweek hump.
