Ich besuche Hamburg zum ersten Mal seit dem fantastischen Hamburg Giga Event 2019, diesmal nur für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp nach einer Kreuzfahrt. Da an meinem einzigen Besuchstag keine Veranstaltung in der Stadt geplant war, dachte ich, ich organisiere selbst etwas. Ich freue mich darauf, Einheimische kennenzulernen, muss aber gleich vorwarnen: Mein Deutsch ist ziemlich schlecht (ich habe als Kind am deutsch-britischen Schüleraustauschprogramm teilgenommen und weiß daher, dass eure Methoden des Sprachenlernens den britischen weit überlegen sind).

I'm going to be visiting Hamburg for the first time since the amazing Hamburg Giga event back in 2019, this time, only for a short stay off a cruise ship. But I thought I'd put an event on, as there wasn't one scheduled in the city for the only day I'm here. So I'll be interested to meet any locals, although I will warn you that my German is pretty terrible (from doing the German/UK student exchange programme as a child, I know your methods of teaching languages is far superior to the British ways).
