' Cow Omelet - Ruthless Pat '

Some time ago (June 2009 through to August 2010) we (ddm) had put together a series of caches and the theme of those was ‘Series’ – collectively known as Mole’s SOS (Series of Series)
Each cache was, in their own right, part of a group of caches (a series) around the country each following a theme linked to a landmark or object, such as churches, ponds and in this case Village Water Pumps.
Each ‘series’ was devised by an individual cacher who either retained the series and developed it on their own such as the ‘ponds, dewponds and lakes’ series by martletsman or encouraged other cachers to add to the series with the request to advise the originator of a new addition in order to keep tabs of the increasing number and save duplication – such as the church micro series, which is managed by sadexploration (This is now the largest linked series of caches in the world)
There are some series of caches which do not get referred to by a rolling number allocated by the originator (like church micro #176), instead these others are referred to by their location – such as the motorway mayhem series where the motorway and the junction distinguish it from any other.
As a result a bunch of caches were put out as part of the SOS series highlighting 20 different series.
Having moved away from Tonbridge in 2017 we adopted out the early part of the SOS series and these are now owned by cachers local to Tonbridge – many are still active caches.
However, having moved, we have continued to add to the SOS...the number now up to 33
and so - to this series - 'Cow Omelet'
The 'Cow Omelet' series was one devised by Airhorns - all with weird and wonderful names but linked by one specific theme and originally the idea being that you go to the location of the cache and hopefully the penny will drop as to why the weird cache name - since then many caches have been added to the series (nearly 200) - and we too are adding to that number with this one 'Cow Omelet - Ruthless Pat'
This is the first of this series to be placed in the county of Kent and in the region of South East England - more may come
The cache is a trad and can be found at GZ - I have not made this a hard cache to find, use the hint
The neighbour over the road is aware but please be stealthy as this area can be busy at times.
Parking isn't great but I suggest find somewhere nearby and stroll over to GZ
As for what the cache name means - hopefully you'll spot it at GZ - please don't mention it in your log, let other finders try and work it out.
I don't want to say too much more about the series else the element of curiosity will be lost - however should you wish to add to the series there is website https://cowomeletseries.wixsite.com/home which is managed by TheSpecialAgents.
Many thanks airhorns for the inspiration
In order to log a 'found' online you must sign the physical logsheet - unless good reason for not being able to do so (sodden / full logsheet etc - if this is the case, ensure an OAR log is also added) - however, if you don't have a pen !! just log a 'write note'.
If you cannot find the cache, do not assume it missing and do not put a throwdown as a replacement. ALL maintenance is the responsibility of the CO – if any is required, please add a ‘Needs Maintenance’ log to highlight the issue
