I am visiting Cherbourg on a cruise ship so have placed my event in a public space a short walk from the terminal.
This is my second visit to Cherbourg, many years ago before Geocaching I sailed a small yacht with friends from England so am looking forward to exploring the city again this time with the help of local geocaches and adventure labs.
I hope to meet some locals and any visitors who are currently visiting Cherbourg for a friendly Geochat, to exchange, discover TBs and advice etc
Je me rends à Cherbourg dans le cadre d'une croisière ; j'ai donc organisé mon événement dans un espace public, à quelques pas du terminal.
C'est ma deuxième visite à Cherbourg : il y a bien longtemps, avant même l'existence du géocaching, j'y étais venu en voilier avec des amis depuis l'Angleterre. Je suis donc impatient de redécouvrir la ville, cette fois-ci en explorant les géocaches locales et les « Adventure Labs ».
J'espère y rencontrer des habitants ainsi que d'autres visiteurs présents à Cherbourg, pour une discussion conviviale autour du géocaching, échanger, découvrir des objets voyageurs (TB) et partager des conseils, entre autres.
