A New Brewery in an Old Firehouse!
Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
Time: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Fenton Brewing Company
169 N. Seymour Avenue
Mundelein, IL 60060
Event Description
Mundelein has a new brewery, but the building itself has quite a bit of history!
Join us for a geocaching meet-and-greet at Fenton Brewing Company, Mundelein’s newest brewery, which just opened in October 2026!
The building dates back to the 1940s, when it was constructed as a fire station for the Village of Mundelein. After serving as a firehouse for decades, it became a municipal public works facility before eventually being transformed into Tonality Brewing Company in 2023.
I actually hosted geocaching events here back when it was Tonality Brewing! Unfortunately, Tonality closed in 2025, but the building has now received a new lease on life with Fenton Brewing Company taking over the space.
I figured this would be a great opportunity to return to a familiar location, check out the newest brewery in Mundelein, and enjoy some geocaching conversation!
As always, no purchase is necessary to attend. Just stop by, say hello, and enjoy some time with fellow geocachers!
Hope to see you there!
