This cache is located on the grounds of Locks 2 & 3 in Seneca Falls, NY. These locks are located on the Cayuga-Seneca Canal that joins Cayuga Lake (the longest Finger Lake) with Seneca Lake (the deepest Finger Lake.)
There is also a neat Museum of Waterways and Industry located nearby at 89 Fall Street in Downtown Seneca Falls. The museum will be open to the public every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting January 4th, 2003
The Village of Seneca Falls is rich in history and one could easily make a day of it just exploring its many historical sites. (To boot: there are at least 2 other caches in the village and 5 others within a 5 mile radius...use area code 13148.)
