At the intersection of California's State Routes 178 and 127 fire up your GPS and head west on a dirt road good enough for most vehicles. Roads to south have been closed off but enter area just north of the DAY USE ONLY sign and park near the cache by the first hiking trail signpost.
The cache was placed impulsively the eve of Elvis's birthday but you may see some dwellings that could be "Heartbreak Hotel".
On the way back to the cache, you will see an old graveyard with interesting markers! You will be heading west from the old Tonopah and Tidewater Railroad Depot (now the C'est Si Bon Internet Cafe) and travel thru the old Dublin Gulch area with some of the most interesting rooms you've seen in your travels. Please stay on the road because California is getting funny about off road use.
Watch your little ones as there are some hazards in the area and the rocks are fragile... so don't get "All Shook Up". The cache is in a small ammo can. Contents are the usual swag, log book and pencil.
